Julia Evans

A picture of my sister and I (on the right) from summer!

Hi! My name is Julia Evans. I'm an English Professional Writing major with a minor in Creative Writing. I'm actually from Bloomsburg, PA and this is my freshman year here. I enjoy writing and drawing in my spare time and being outdoors. I like to hike, mountain bike, and ski

I just recently read The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde after putting it off for about two years. I enjoyed it thoroughly and would definitely recommend it. I also just started reading Tar Baby by Toni Morrison since I absolutely adore her writing.

I've linked http://pinterest.com as my favorite website. I absolutely love looking at home decor and finding drawing inspiration and Pinterest is where I find almost all of my favorite designs!

I'd recommend learning guitar or any instrument to anyone interested! I personally really love music and have been very slowly learning how to play myself. I know several people that have plans to in their future and I think you should just go for it!

  1. Hi Julia! We definitely have a couple of the same hobbies in common. I also enjoy to hike, and I snowboard instead of ski, but same type of sport. I can also say I am a pinterest lover myself, I spend way too much time on the app. I am excited to get to hear more about you through out the semester!

  3. Hi Julia! I also love The Picture of Dorian Gray, it's one of my favorites. I haven't read Tar Baby, I'll put it on my list! Pinterest is one of my favorite websites as well, I spend a lot of my free time on the app. It's addicting!

  4. Hi Julia! I've been meaning to get into hiking, do you have any trail recommendations or tips/tricks for a first timer? I'm partial to Tumblr myself, but I definitely use Pinterest more often than not!

  5. Thanks for sharing, Julia. I've read other Oscar Wilde and Toni Morrison, but not those novels. So many things to read and never enough time!
