Cadence Kratzer

Hey! My name is Cadence and I'm from Selinsgrove, PA. I'm a secondary education English major and I'm a freshman. I used to wrestle in high school, and I weightlift and play rugby here at Bloomsburg. I'm also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I really like horror movies, watching wrestling matches, and shopping!

I don't read much however it's something I want to start doing. I want to read horror books so if you have any recommendations, please let me know! My favorite book I've read was All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque. I also really like The Great Gatsby by Scott Fitzgerald.

A website I really enjoy is Pinterest. I use this daily for inspiration in my life. This app is also really good for finding fun recipes, quotes, and any type of planning.

A video I like is this audio of Emma Chamberlin about becoming a better person. I believe that we should always strive to be better, kinder, and just good people. Being a better person

  1. Hi Cadence! Tae Kwon Do sounds like such a cool skill. I recently bought All Quiet on the Western Front at a book sale and have been waiting for an excuse to read it. Do you have any favorite recipes you've found on Pinterest? It's also one of my favorite sites!

  2. Hi! We have the same major aspirations! I also love horror movies and books. I definitely recommend any Stephen King book. I love to watch horror movies with my friends. My favorite app is also Pinterest. I go on their anytime I need ideas for my nails, dinner, and any special events outfits. It's a good app to use for anything.

  3. Hi Cadence! I'm actually from Liverpool, so about 20 minutes away from Selinsgrove, but I do work there! I also love to use pinterest for anything and EVERYTHING!! I use it for nail inspo, outfit inspo, etc. I also think it's really cool that you wrestled in high school! My high school never had a woman's wrestling team until the year after I graduated.

  4. Hi Cadence! The fact you play all those sports and are a black belt is hella cool! If you don't mind me asking, when did you start doing Tae Kwon Do and how long did it take you to get to that level?

  5. Thanks for sharing, Cadence. One of my book clubs read the horror/thriller novel, 'All the Sinners Bleed'. I found it to be fairly solid. One novel I did not love of that variety was 'The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires'. It fits the horror bill, but I didn't love some of the choices the characters made.
